Join us on October 29th to honor our ancestors as we celebrate Samhain, the Celtic New Year.

Our Samhain Celebration is fast approaching. We will be meeting at the Fellowship on Saturday, October 29th for our Pagan potluck dinner @ 5, followed by our group craft project @ 6. This Samhain, we’ll be creating our own personalized flying ointment from organic oils, herbs and beeswax, to be used to enhance our spiritual awareness and psychic connections prior to the main Ritual. We will also dedicate the chalices we painted earlier this month at our Full Moon Circle. In addition, there will be an interactive Ancestor Table set up out by the fire circle. Bring a picture or memento of a loved one who has passed over and place it on the altar for remembrance. There will be natural herb incenses to burn and candles to light in honor of our family, cultural or spiritual ancestors. And for our main Ritual, we will raise energy with chanting, drumming and bells to welcome the spirits of our ancestors into our circle through the veil between the worlds. Dress for outdoor comfort; it may get cool. There will be a fire, and ritual robes are always welcome, but never required.

It promises to be a fun and exciting night. Children are welcome at all our Pagan Friendship Circle events, and specific activities for them will always be available.  I hope to see you there.

Bright blessings,

Deirdre
