Souper Bowl food collection

We begin accepting contributions for our annual Souper Bowl Food Drive, benefiting the Flint Hills Bread Basket, on Sunday, January 1.  Collection will continue each Sunday through Super Bowl Sunday, on February 5.  Look for the collection box in the narthex.  Foods currently needed at the Bread Basket include pancake syrup, peanut butter, jelly, oatmeal, and canned meats.  Of course, any canned or otherwise shelf-stable foods are appreciated and distributed.  Currently, 20.6% of Riley County citizens live below the poverty level.   Learn more from Deirdre Greeley at saffyrr@gmail.com
