Audio Archive, Oct. 27, 2013 – Meadow-Thinking

The Meadow is a sustainable landscape of native plants at KSU, a living memorial to William C. and Sara T. Hummel. Goals of the Meadow include providing a place where connections can be made between the Beach Museum’s regionally-focused art and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) research being conducted by faculty and staff. This serves as an example for those wishing to install low-energy landscapes. As UUFM emerges from a recent cycle of visioning, can The Meadow serve as a inspiration for our desire to serve as an inspiration for our desire to “be a beacon to the broader community.”  Convener: Katie Kingery Page.
