Audio Archive, Oct. 12, 2014 – Diminishing the Stigma of Mental Illness

The more we learn about mental illness, the impulse to stigmatize those who suffer from depression, bi-polar, and obsessive compulsive disorders lessens. Barbara Thompson and her son, Richard, share their difficult journey with mental illness and how their family has grown stronger as they have not only learned how to cope, but to move their lives forward with dignity. Our convener is Rev. Michael Nelson.
