Manhattan City Park, Manhattan KS
Curious about Tai Chi? Join Mark Moser and Jonalu Johnstone and other interested folks in Manhattan City Park, between the Rose Garden and the stage, to practice some easy Chi Gung warm-ups, and learn Wu and Yang styles of Tai Chi. We’ll probably even try some Push Hands (2 person Tai Chi). We welcome anyone of any skill level, whatever you know or don’t know about this kind of spiritual movement. Learn more from Mark at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Jonalu at email@example.com.

Next Steps Weekend - open discussion
UUFM, Manhattan KS
Our Fellowship has been considering the purchase of a different building. Though several questions and concerns about that remain, one stands out. How would we pay for it–both in terms of purchase and on-going expenses? To help us address these questions, our Board has invited Barry Finkelstein, a UUA consultant, to help us in financial planning. We hope to accomplish three goals during the visit: 1) gather enough information to gain a clear sense of who we are and where we would like to go; 2) generate specific observations and recommendations to help us on our journey; and 3) explain how the Stewardship for Us Team can offer guidance and coaching as we move into the future. All members and friends are encouraged to join in the conversation on Saturday afternoon, September 21, from 2 to 3:15 pm, at the Fellowship. On Sunday, we’ll hold an open forum to share Barry’s observations and recommendations. These sessions will be engaging, energetic, and informative. Snacks and childcare will be available. We encourage all to attend. Learn more from Jonalu Johnstone at firstname.lastname@example.org.
