Date/Time Event
12:00 am -11:59 pm Art submission deadline   UUFM, Manhattan KS

UUFM is updating the artwork in the narthex, and would love display your artwork. With new members and new energy, we’re trying something a bit different.  We’d love artwork to coordinate with upcoming Soul Matters themes for Sunday services including expectation, belonging, attention, awe, integrity, and resilience.  Even if you don’t think your artwork fits these themes, please submit it!  We’ll find a place for it.  Artwork must be accompanied by an attached submission form, no later than Saturday, September 28, and must be framed or otherwise ready for display.  Drop it off with Susan at the Fellowship during office hours: Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays 1-6 pm, or Saturdays 2-5 pm.  Learn more from Rob Morrison at william.robert.morrison@gmail.com.

9:00 am -10:30 am Tai Chi   Manhattan City Park, Manhattan KS

Curious about Tai Chi?  Join Mark Moser and Jonalu Johnstone and other interested folks in Manhattan City Park, between the Rose Garden and the stage, to practice some easy Chi Gung warm-ups, and learn Wu and Yang styles of Tai Chi.  We’ll probably even try some Push Hands (2 person Tai Chi).  We welcome anyone of any skill level, whatever you know or don’t know about this kind of spiritual movement. Learn more from Mark at mark@grapeviner.com, or Jonalu at revjonalu@uufm.net.

2:00 pm -5:00 pm Susan Turner   UUFM, Manhattan KS
