Musicale XVIII

Our traditional way to greet the fall features musical performances by talented people across the age ranges.  Celebrate our story in song!  All ages are encouraged to join us for this musical morning, but nursery and preschool classes will be available for kids who need to be a little more active.   Start making plans now, and learn how you can schedule your performance from Music Director Renea Brown at reneareasoner@gmail.com.

4:00 pm -5:30 pm Racial Justice Team - Book Discussion   UUFM, Manhattan KS

The  UUFM Racial Justice Team invites everyone to join in a book discussion on Sunday, September 29, October 6, 13, and 20, from 4 to 5:30 pm, at the Fellowship.  Join us to explore Just Mercy, by Bryan Stevenson (www.uuabookstore.org/Just-Mercy-P17700.aspx), the 2015/2016 UUA Common Read.  Attend all four sessions, or join us for one or more sessions which are convenient for you.  On October 20, we’ll explore ways to put our newfound knowledge to practical use.

Just Mercy is a powerful true story about the potential for mercy to redeem us, and a clarion call to fix our broken system of justice.  Learn more from Judy Nickelson at judynickelson@gmail.com.

Please contact Sue Turner (office@uufm.net) to have an event added to the calendar.
