The Kansas People’s Agenda is working with the Poor People’s Campaign:  A National Call for a Moral Revival, and invites you to a Mass Meeting event on Monday, August 21, from 6 to 10 pm, with Rev Dr William J Barber II.  The meeting features leaders from Kansas and Missouri along with Reverend Barber from Repairers of the Breach, coming together to revive the moral narrative and in opposition to a culture of systemic racism, entrenched poverty, militarism, environmental devastation, and related issues. Reviving the unfinished work and mission of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr.  Learn more about the movement at poorpeoplescampaign.org/.

This is a chance to join forces with others across state lines to be agents of change, and share the vision for a message to our leaders in Kansas that change is due!   MAPJ is chartering a bus to the rally in Topeka leaving at about 5 pm, on August 21, from the southwest corner of the Town Center Mall parking lot, near Texas Road House.  Reserve your seat at https://goo.gl/forms/srjfwZkoZEkjBDzP2.
