On Saturday, JULY 7, the UUFM Pagan Friendship Circle celebrates July’s full moon, also known as the Buck Moon, Thunder Moon or Hay Moon. We’ll meet again on Saturday, JULY 21, for a Two Kings New Year’s Festival. The ancient Greeks and Egyptians both celebrated their New Year in summer. This collaborative ritual, led by a Hellenic polytheist and a Kemetic polytheist, will weave together elements from the Greek festival of Diisoteria honoring Zeus, and the Egyptian festival of Wep Ronpet honoring Ra. Both celebrations begin with light snacks at 6 pm, followed by ritual at 7 pm. As always, events are family-friendly, and open to all interested individuals.
