John Exdell and the Coalition for Equal Justice will present the latest data on racial disparity in marijuana-related arrests in Riley County at the September RICO Law Board meeting.  UUFM is a part of the Coalition for Equal Justice, and we have gone public through a letter to the editor, following the passage of our congregational resolution.  It would be great to have a strong showing of UUs at the Law Board meeting, on Monday, September 18, at 12 noon in the City Commission Room, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Ave. The Law Board meetings are televised on Cable channel 3.  The minutes of the previous Law Board meeting note the Fraternal Order of Police point of view on this issue, and can be viewed at https://cityofmhk.com/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/5789.  Learn more from Katie Kingery-Page at kingerypage@gmail.com.
