Restoring Trust After the Breach

Reverend Jonalu Johnstone presents the reflection.  In this Black History Month, we’ll use the experience of the Empowerment Controversy in the UUA in the 1960’s as a case study for the breaking of trust and the slow, deliberate rebuilding that broken trust requires.  This work has implications for all the covenants of our lives–from the personal covenants like marriage to the social covenants like nations.  Dave Lambert, at david.k.lambert@gmail.com, convenes.
