Courage to Stand Firm:  The ‘I Can Do No Other’ Moment

Rev Jonalu Johnstone speaks this morning.  Five hundred years ago this month, Martin Luther posted his theses that began the Reformation.  When asked to recant, he declared “Here I stand; I can do no other.”  Courage comes when any other alternative simply will not do, if we are to maintain our integrity.  We’ll examine that “I can do no other” moment, as it’s reflected in other lives and in our own.  Convener is Susan Adamchak at sadamchak@kansas.net.
