A Meditation on Attention in Everyday Life

Les Loschky presents this service.  Attention is the gateway to awareness, understanding, and memory for what you experience each moment in life.  Attention is also our ability to focus on a task without being distracted.  One can be the master of their mind, or the slave to the ‘monkey mind’ that jumps from one thing to the next.  In the information age, we live in a time of ever increasingly scattered attention.  But regularly engaging in monkey-mind electronic multi-tasking actually making us worse at it.  Mediation is a proven way to tame the monkey mind, and improves real-world multi-tasking.  Rob Morrison, at william.robert.morrison@gmail.com will convene.
