Still Life: Be Still and Know

Rev Jonalu Johnstone reflects, “A still life art captures a moment.  It reveals to us what we do not know about ordinary things.  In the same way, if we can be still, we can open ourselves to knowledge about the ordinary world that cannot come to us when we are in perpetual motion.  Stillness is not absence or negation.  Rather, it brings its own gifts and rewards.  As we move through the holiday season, may we find stillness, rest, and new meaning.”  Our convener is Linda Johnson at lindajohnson@kansas.net.
