Announcement on Sunday Services for Summer and Fall

In accordance with the recommendation of the UUA, we will continue to come together each Sunday by Zoom, online only, through Fall of 2020 [find links at uufm.net/zoom].   We will also continue to meet and find fellowship through online Chalice Circles and other small groups.

UUA recommends that congregations remain remote in their operations through the entire 2020-21 year.  UUFM will reevaluate based upon local, state, and federal conditions and guidelines in January of 2021.  We might need to extend this approach through Spring of 2021.

Summer Services 2020

Summer Services will be hosted on the Zoom platform and will be drawn from other UU congregations.  This will be a chance to learn how other congregations conduct Sunday services online.  Each week will still have a UUFM convener, Joys and Concerns, and opportunity for coffee and conversation among our community members.  The shared service approach will occur throughout July and August.  Our congregation will contribute a custom-made service August 23.

If you are interested in contributing to Sunday Services through a reading, by convening, or through special music, we encourage you to step up during this difficult time and contact either Katie Kingery-Page (kingerypage@gmail.com) or Les Loschky (loschky@gmail.com)  to register your interest.  We always welcome new conveners, and you can tailor your commitment to your time.  Convening once a quarter is welcomed, as it convening once a year!  It takes many to create our Sunday Services.  It is only when we come together as a community that we can maintain a vibrant spiritual life during this turbulent time.
