Rev Jonalu Johnstone reflects, “As Christians celebrate Pentecost (the receiving of the Holy Spirit) and Jews Shavu’ot (the receiving of the Law at Mount Sinai), we’ll look at what it means to approach a spiritual threshold, a time when the wind of the spirit moves through a people.  Both groups were wandering in wildernesses, literally or metaphorically.  How did Spirit shape them?  “The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.  So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”  Our convener is Judy Nickelson at judynickelson@gmail.com.
