What’s Happening in RE June 2023

THE PATH OF DELIGHT

What paths must we lean into and relearn as we travel together into our complex, challenging, and hoped for future? In June we are exploring the many paths of delight.   Each path includes an exploration of an aspect of delight.
* Making Room for Delight (Flower Service) – June 4
* Field Trip: Shared Worship at the Manhattan Mennonite Church – June 11
* The Dance of Delight and Hard Things (Juneteenth) – June 18
* The Delight of Delight – June 25

Join us each Sunday as we discover what is in the wonder box!

On June 11 we have a special field trip! We’ll be visiting our neighbors the Mennonites. In preparation for the event we’re playing Field Trip Bingo. Be sure to get your Bingo Card! (We’ll practice a couple of Sundays beforehand, too.)

PARENT NIGHT OUT (KID NIGHT IN)
JUNE 16 * 6:00-9:00 pm

Parents, are you ready for a night out? Kids, are you ready for a night in? Mark your calendars for the third Friday of the month all summer long.  Parent Night Out (Kid Night In) is for children from 3-12 years old who can toilet on their own with minimal assistance. We eat pizza, play games, create art, and watch a movie – on the big screen, with popcorn! A $5 per child contribution helps us cover expenses.  REMINDER:  THIS IS AN RSVP EVENT AND SPACE IS LIMITED. Registration is required. Please RSVP to Sandy no later than Wednesday, June 14.

JULY

In July we plan to do some really different things. More field trips! Crazy art! Camping! Stay tuned for all the details!
