PARENT NIGHT OUT (KID NIGHT IN) – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13, 6:00-9:00 P.M. Time to start having Halloween fun! The second Friday of the month is the event for you! Parent Night Out (Kid Night In) is for children from 3-12 years old who can toilet on their own with minimal assistance. We’ll eat pizza, watch a movie, have some snacks, play some games, and get messy with an art project. A $5 per child contribution helps us cover expenses. REMINDER: THIS IS AN RSVP EVENT AND SPACE IS LIMITED. Please RSVP to Sandy no later than Wednesday, October 11.

OCT 1: NOURISHING THE ROOTS OF OUR HERITAGE TREE

What does it take to make history? Keep it alive? We’ll explore nature and storytelling and discover how the two can be tangled together.

 

OCT 8: EXPLORING OUR MUSICAL HERITAGE

Join us as we each create our own Thumb Piano! Many thanks to Dan Swenson who has created kits to make it easy for everyone. You’ll get to swing a hammer, pound a nail, and make beautiful music.

 

OCT 15: EXPLORING OUR KANSAS ROOTS

We embrace our Kansas roots and think about home and family.

 

OCT 22: ROOTING THROUGH THE GROUNDS

We’ll see what kind of roots we can find outside.

 

OCT 29: EXPLORING OUR HOLIDAY TRADITIONS & TRUNK OR TREAT

Halloween is nearly here so we’ll be celebrating! Wear a costume if you like. After the service we’ll join together in the upper parking lot for games and fun.
