The search team charged with recruiting applicants for the position of Interim Director of Religious Education is continuing to pursue its efforts to reinvigorate the UUFM Religious Education program. The interim DRE position has been advertised, and the early application was Nov 1. Applications will be reviewed on Nov 5, while the world holds its breath in anticipation of the outcome of the US Presidential election.
At the October Board meeting, we finalized our annual goals for moving UUFM into the future, after sketching them out at the Annual Board retreat on Sept 7:
Goal 1. (by June 2025) Facilitate a visioning process for what RE will look like at UUFM
Goal 2. (by June 2025) Identify the aims and domains of teams.
Goal 3: (by June 2026) Ground conflict management processes in the spirit of covenant.
Goal 4. (by June 2026) Institute a practice of gratitude (recognition system to acknowledge efforts of members).
