We begin the month’s reflection on our themes of Healing and Covenant while celebrating Día de los Muertos. As a spiritual community drawn together not by beliefs but rather by promises, we do not have a shared understanding of what happens to us after we die. Pastor Isa will reflect on how our reckoning with the soul (as a concept, metaphor, or concrete reality) underpins the promises we make to each other and how they withstand the fire of death and loss. You are welcome to bring a photo of your loved one to place on the ofrenda before the service, and anytime this week during office hours.
