Elke Lorenz took us on a wonderful tour of China. We learned about children in China who are just like us. Elegant scarves and fans were just a few of the trinkets we got to explore. (Thanks go to Justin Harms for the great pictures.)

Patagonia, Chile, and Empanadas!
Many thanks to Susan Adamchak for taking us all on a trip to the Patagonia region of Chile. It was especially fun to start the lesson by making empanadas! They were extra delicious and we made enough to share with everyone.
