UUFM has been on the forefront of defending the right to equal marriage and nondiscrimination. Working with other faith groups in our community, UUFM pushed the Manhattan City Commission to create an anti-discrimination ordinance that would offer protection for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations: KSNT News, and national coverage.
