Animal Blessing (video available)

In the Roman Catholic tradition, October 4 is the Feast of St Francis of Assisi.  St Francis (1182-1226) was known for his vow of poverty and his special connection to animals.  We UUs have picked up on the Catholic tradition of blessing animals, particularly pets.  We will bless our pets at this service.  You are welcome to bring your pet, or a photograph of your pet, to the Fellowship.  This can also be a pet you want to remember.  You and your pet can join us interactively on Zoom.  We will ask each owner to tell us something about their pet and then the pet will be blessed.

If you will be showing a photograph, please send a copy to our convener, Dan Swenson, by Friday, September 23, at swenson.home@gmail.com.  Come, celebrate with us!

We continue to offer a virtual option, for those who prefer to join us remotely, at our usual Sunday morning service URL, https://zoom.us/j/92604313401?pwd=OXlyeW1RQ0I4U1cxQ1FpU0x2TlZqdz09, at 10:45 am.  The meeting ID is 926 0431 3401 and the password is zeandale.
