Grief and Gratitude in the Face of the Unknown (video available)

This Sunday, Pastor Isa will expand our regular practice of Joys and Sorrows to hold the immense range of concerns in our lives these days: the complex outcomes of the election; the coziness of cool weather and the danger of cold for our unhoused neighbors; the blessing of Thanksgiving and the wound of Thanksgrieving, which many of our indigenous siblings observe on the same day; the celebration of life and the mourning of death. Together, when we deepen our capacity to grieve, we can find even greater joy.

We’re beginning Brown Bag Lunches every month following the service on the second Sunday.  Following the service on November 13, we open with a broad discussion to determine participants’ areas of interest, which we’ll explore in future sessions.  Join us at 12:15 pm, in-person in UUFM’s sanctuary, or on Zoom, at our usual Sunday service Zoom link, seen in following paragraph.

We continue to offer a virtual option for those who prefer to join us remotely, at our usual Sunday morning service URL, https://zoom.us/j/92604313401?pwd=OXlyeW1RQ0I4U1cxQ1FpU0x2TlZqdz09, at 10:45 am.  The meeting ID is 926 0431 3401 and the password is zeandale.
