Who Is Human and How Can You Tell?

Over the summer, we will be sharing a series of recorded services with our regional UU neighbors.  This Sunday, August 15, we are joined by the Reverend Lynnda White who is retired from her position at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Peoria, Illinois.  How can we celebrate the quest for justice, equality, and human rights without determining what we mean by human and deciding if some people are more human than others or are more entitled to more rights than others?  Apparently, the answers aren’t as simple as we think.  Our convener is Larry Weaver at lweaver@phys.ksu.edu.

The Fellowship building is now open, and you may choose to attend services in person.  For those joining us in the Fellowship building, masks are required for everyone older than 4, regardless of vaccination status.

We also continue to offer a virtual option, for those who prefer to join us remotely, at our usual Sunday morning service URL, https://zoom.us/j/92604313401?pwd=OXlyeW1RQ0I4U1cxQ1FpU0x2TlZqdz09, at 10:30 am.  The meeting ID is 926 0431 3401 and the password is zeandale.
