Principles and Policies
UUFM is dedicated to respect for everyone, the right of conscience, and community care. We strive to create a mask-positive environment, where anyone wearing a mask to reduce disease transmission feels welcome and fully included. No one will be pressured to remove a mask or explain why they are wearing it. Masks are not required during our Sunday services or other events, but we may strongly encourage them during times of high community transmission.
We shall provide UUFM members with objective health information and will encourage them to make informed choices. We will not pressure anyone to do anything that that person considers dangerous. We shall provide the resources in Section 3.
1.1
Exceptions
Any scheduled activity group may require masks, but shall not prohibit them. The members of said group shall decide their own policy.
We may require masks if a current government mask mandate applies to us.

Recommendations to Members
If you wear a mask, we recommend surgical or better (i.e. not cloth).
We recommend you use our community risk levels or similar information to inform your attendance choices, especially if you or someone at home is at high risk.
If you have symptoms of a contagious illness, we ask that you stay away from in person fellowship events until you are better.
