Expectations, Yearnings, and Goals

Rev Jonalu Johnstone speaks.  What we expect and what we long for are not always the same.  What’s more, wanting something to happen is far from achieving it.  In the gap sit our goals, the concrete aims we put our minds and hearts into accomplishing.  This is true for us as individuals, as families, and as organizations.  We’ll consider this broadly, and also as we conclude our Next Steps Weekend, wonder what it means for us as a congregation.
