UU Travelers… Art Tour

On Sunday our kids started the morning by telling us things that they find awesome…  Books! School! The Sky! The Clouds! Sunsets! Cats! Dogs! Animals! New Shoes! Pink! Nature! The Community! WOW! I think all our kids are AWESOME!

Then, Dick Beeman led us on a tour of some awesome cave art. He shared some images that were at least 30,000 years old. We were inspired by all of it, especially the hands, the animals, and the people.

These hands are some of the oldest illustrations in the world.

A rhinoceros in the Chauvet Cave in southern France.

Slim figures from the Gwion culture which flourished in Australia at least 17,000 years ago.
All the art was extremely inspiring,so we made drawings of our own.Thank you Dick!(Watch for a gallery showing soon!)
