Dick Beeman brought back his Silk Moth caterpillars today and we were surprised at how strong the silk cocoons were. We pulled and pulled and pulled but they did not come apart! While outside we looked everywhere for silk strings and actually found quite a bit. We also saw some incredible pictures of huge, beautiful moths and wondered what Dick’s will look like in the end.
