Summer 2015

We’ve officially begun our Summer RE programming!

What better way to start the summer than with a campfire, roasting marshmallows, and making S’mores.

All summer long our students will have new adventures as “World Travelers”.

Destinations include: Australia (with a stop at Easter Island and maybe a dip into the Pacific Ocean first), Singapore, Ecuador, Pillsbury Crossing (for a real canoe trip!), the cosmos, South Africa, Turkey, and more!

Did you know it’s the International Year of Light? We’ll also explore light, bug houses, kite making, and reconnect with last year’s beehive.

Lots of excitement is on the horizon. We hope you can join us.

Popcorn Theology

On most Fridays from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. the teens (7th grade and up) are invited to explore issues of theology and ethics through film. Popcorn Theology is a multi-session curriculum built around popular movies on issues of theological and ethical relevance to Unitarian Universalist youth. Movies are PG or PG-13. You must RSVP to DRE@uufm.net by Thursday noon.
