We all know that the “world as it is” is not the same as the “world as it should be.” What do we do about that? There are multiple layers to the work of transforming a whole society. We’ll talk through one example that is pertinent to recent events within the UUA — white supremacy in our culture. How do we address it on the multiple levels that it exists? How does this apply to how we address other issues — the destruction of our environment, violence and militarism, consumerism, heteropatriarchy, and more.
