DECEMBER IS WAFFLE MONTH!
Every Sunday in December we’ll be serving up hot waffles for breakfast from 9:30-10:15 a.m. in the Jupiter room. Come have breakfast with us!

Pre-K – 6th grade classes
December 1 – Holiday Crafting
December 8 – Holiday Crafting
December 15 – A People of Awe
December 22 – Board games and crafting
December 29 – Pajamas and hot chocolate

7th and Up class
December 1 – Prepare for Dec 8 field trip – learn about Catholicism (and a little crafting!)
December 8 – Field trip to Saint Isadore’s for Catholic mass (9:30 a.m.)
December 15 – Reflect on field trip then pizza lunch and holiday cookie baking at Sandy’s home (Friends are welcome. Lunch at 12:30 and baking cookies until about 3:00. RSVP to Sandy or Molly)
December 22 – Board games and crafting
December 29 – Catch up and planning for new year

TEEN LUNCH & COOKIES
Sunday, December 15 the 7th grade and up class is having pizza lunch and holiday cookie baking at Sandy’s home. Friends are welcome. Lunch at 12:30 and baking cookies until about 3:00. RSVP to Sandy or Molly.

OUR WHOLE LIVES (OWL) CLASSES
Our Whole Lives (OWL) classes will be held mid-January through mid-March. OWL is a respected UU sexual education program. Children learn in an accurate and age appropriate way about human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture. The core values are self worth, sexual health, responsibility, and justice, and inclusivity. We expect to offer the K-1 curriculum. It all depends on interest and class numbers. If you have children within those age ranges and would like to enroll them in OWL, or if you simply have questions about the OWL program, contact Sandy Nelson at dre@uufm.net as soon as possible.
