What’s Happening in RE April 2024

The theme of April is The Gift of Interdependence.

This month we explore what interdependence means for us as Unitarian Universalists, the difference between independence and interdependence, and how our faith teaches us and lifts up the idea that we can’t go it alone.

Among our month-long explorations we’ll include discussions on…

* Interdependence – What is it?
* The Web of Community – How we nurture it and it nurtures us
* Caring For the Web of Creation
* How the Web of Creation Cares For Us* Transformation – Change Happens

As an example of interdependence, we’ll also be having fun in April with some lessons from a series of books that Linda Johnson told me about by Liz Lee Heinecke… “Kitchen Science.” I see some yummy creations in our future!

LITTLE APPLE PRIDE – April 20, 3:00-7:00

Calling all marchers! The Little Apple Pride Parade is a wonderful way to share our pride with others. Gather at the City Pool parking lot between 2:30-2:50 for the 3:00 p.m. parade. (Pride entertainment will follow until 7:00 p.m.)  Wear your rainbows and comfy shoes or bring bikes, trikes, wagons, scooters, etc. We’ll have flags, banners, and crepe paper to decorate your wheels.

See you soon,
