Let’s gather to reflect on how we express our values through our donations each month. All the money we collect on Sunday mornings goes to a special organization. Now is the time of the year when we choose recipients.

Bring a lunch and sit with Kathy Swenson as we consider the following possible adjustments to our process:

• Research ahead of time and decide on the specific organizations we want to support for
  the year and then not ask for applications.
• Rotate recipients over multiple years so we can include new organizations and still cycle
  back to the current ones, which are so important. 
• One-time special collections for certain organizations for specific Sundays (e.g.
  Humane Society with the Animal Blessing service.)
