Most of us are pretty conflict-averse, especially here in the Midwest. That’s no surprise — it’s a basic survival instinct! But as we gain personal and collective consciousness, we can learn to use conflict to grow. After all, we wouldn’t be fighting if we didn’t care. Whenever there’s care, there’s an opportunity for deeper relationships with ourselves and, potentially, even the most troublesome adversaries. To help us explore the topic, we’ll recount the story of Androcles and the Lion. Pastor Isabel will lead the service.
