Reverend Jonalu Johnstone presents this service.  Once we know ourselves, we can begin deeply listening to others.  Not to fix them–even if we’d like to. Not to rescue them–even if they need help.  Not to change them–even if their positions are anathema.  First, we have to try to understand them and where they are.  And that requires deep listening.  Sometimes, that can be painful–for example, if we have through our own words or actions, hurt them.  We can never reach reconciliation, though, without listening.  Our convener is Susan Adamchak at sadamchak@kansas.net.
