In this all-ages service, we officially welcome the new church year. We’ll begin with a participatory chalice lighting — everyone gets to greet the power and mystery of fire. Then we shift into water communion, a Unitarian Universalist tradition.
Be prepared for this fun service!
If you’re coming on Zoom,
- Bring a candle and matches or a lighter.
- Have a glass of water or your water bottle handy.
If you’re coming in-person,
- Bring some water from home (in a jar or your everyday water bottle).
- Wear clothes for (optional) water play outside after the service.
Stay after for “Who Are UU,” our new member class, open to visitors and prospective members as well as long-time members who want a refresher in UU topics.
Attend in person or on Zoom!
