Dear Members and Friends,

I’d like to thank Eli Martinson for stepping up to be Treasurer. It involves some heavy lifting at this time in our Fellowship’s life. I will assist him to make a smooth transition. Sandy Nelson continues to do much of the weekly bookkeeping. Susan Turner now processes the payroll checks. I’d like to thank the Finance Committee: Scott Tanona, Nathan Albin, Cybil Perkins, Mark Mayfield, and Chris Bailey. They helped guide the big decisions and often were my sounding board.

We are in the middle of our pledge drive for the June 1, 2018-May 31, 2019 fiscal year. As of May 20, we had received 31 pledges totaling almost $77,000. We hope to receive about 30 more pledges. All pledges are important to the overall goal. We are aiming for $135,000 this year. In early June, the Pledge Committee, will begin contacting those who we haven’t heard from yet. I urge you to renew your commitment now. Last January we voted to renew Rev Jonalu Johnstone’s contract for three more years. The room was packed and the vote unanimous. Please show your support now like you did that day.
