Join Deirdre and our lively Pagan group as we turn the wheel again, this time to Yule! Our holiday celebration will be filled with food, stories and joy as we once again welcome the Sun after the longest night of the year. Come learn the pagan Celtic story of the Holly King and the Oak King, and watch the brave young Oak King defeat the aging Holly King as he leads us into the new year. Make merry with us as we celebrate this happy time of year. At 5 we’ll feast together on winter stew and wassail. At 6 Deirdre and the group will cut and decorate Yule cookies for the holiday season. Bring your holiday-themed cookie cutters and sprinkes/decor to share, and while we create cookie masterpieces, we’ll have a fun evening discussing the magickal hearth, and kitchen witchery.
